This week the defence was far more impressive than the first two weeks. The offence had trouble producing, but had a great 3rd quarter. Brees alone gave up 3 interceptions and 1 fumble which threw that game away. We can only hope Brees picks up his game and starts playing lie he did last year. Keep tossing it to Colston he's a giant. I hope they make the playoffs

I do not know if he was thinking he could be like the Colts or Bengals have been but it has not worked out.

Brees is over rated he is not one of the best QBs in the NFL or the NFC for that matter. He is good at running the offense as long as it not trying to come from behind. Peyton needs an OC he can come up with some good plays but tends to get too cute, that is the reason he lost the job with the Giants and in Dallas BP kept a very tight grip on the controlls. I do think he is trying to go the well too many times in the draft by always going after some small school player that no one has heard of before.
The only players from Haslett's D are Bullocks, Smith, Grant, Young and McKenzie... not exactly most of the guys.

As for Brees he isn't "overrated" he just got too much credit last year for an offensive explosion that was led by the running game, and if you look at the numbers, in almost every loss, they completely abandoned the run even when the game was close, but if you look at the wins, the team was balanced and effective on the ground. Brees is one of the best QBs in the NFC, but that's not saying much, McNabb, Favre, Hasselbeck, and then Brees, then a bunch of young or old or crappy guys.
