He didn't completely blow out his knees, when he was 19 he tore his ACL in his left knee and then the next year he tore his acl in his right knee, you can look all over the net, those were the injuries, McGahee's injury was way more serious than Gore's were. He was young and had the time to recover, he hasn't been hurt in over 4 years since. McAlister has the same injury that gore had, plus he partially tore his meniscus, which makes it worse.

The news down here said in the right knee he tore two ligaments and strained the other. He had to have it completely reconstructed. The left he might have only tore an ACL, but the right I know was worse, I remember the news around here in Florida saying it almost ended his career unless they just put BS on the news...which is pretty likely with sports media.

I looked it up again, apparently the media down here was BSing, because it said on USAToday it was only an ACL injury.

i know, I remember when he was hurt and it was a huge deal that he was possibly done, but then when the second knee injury happened, all you would hear was that his first knee injury was similar, I had to dig to find that it was only an ACL on the first and then the same on the other leg, he was 19-20 and hasn't had problems in over 4 years. I think that part of Gore's reputation should be put to bed.

Yeah if it was just two ACL tears that isn't a problem because you actually usually come back stronger than before. Especially since they are almost exclusively freak injuries or awkward landings.

and I think the meniscus tear it going to hurt Deuce more than the acl tear, if that doesn't heal correctly, he could need more surgery.
