The only true #1 overall pick who was an elusive back was Barry Sanders. Also, Tiki was an elusive back and he took hits instead of running out of bounds.

And that jersey he put on happened to be a Detroit Lion's one.

I don't give a crap who they hand the ball to, but hand it to someone. If they keep this passing stuff up, I might have to drive to Louisiana just to kick Sean Payton in the sack. Even in a win they couldn't hold the ball for more than 4-5 minutes at a time.
