Default What gives New Orleans?

The Dr. Jeckyll/Mr. Hyde team of the NFL this season. Just when you think they have fixed what ails them, they drop two in a row to a winless team and perennial basement dweller. One thing is true that the winner of this week's game at Carolina will have a better shot at the final WC spot. New Orleans needs this one having already lost to Carolina on their home turf in Week 5.

The defense is the worst in the NFL, and Payton doesn't let the offense run the ball, so they are turnover prone.

I think they need to run a variety of Draw and pitch plays to Reggie. Keep the defense on their heels and right when they are thinking, Reggie's getting the ball on the draw, throw it deep.

Don't think it's just this season. Saints were 3-13 in '05,10-6 in '06 now 4-6 so far this season.
Maybe '06 was a fluke? They still have the same team as last season.

It wasn't so much a fluke, as it what an offense teams didn't see coming. Now that teams have seen a year's worth of tape on Payton's garbage offense, and now that teams have seen every throw in the direction of Jason David is an automatic TD. The Saints are not nearly the caliber of team they had last year. Deuce being out is also completely destroying what little running game there was.

No Deuce anymore. Of course there weren't doing much better with him. Possibly a fluke, who knows.

Perhaps the Saints became somewhat over confident too?
Just like I think my Bears have. But that's just a small piece of the pie.

True, I forgot about Duece. Do you guys think he will retire? I still think they need to run the ball more.
