I can see him in Philly, it's supposed to come down to them and the Saints, so we'll see.
I also totally disagree with all this cover 2 talk too, the guy was one of the best man coverage CB's in the league.

I thunk they should try to get cute and offer up their 1st and a player for Vilma and Robertson

Hell no.... don't give a top 10 pick for two guys who both have injury problems. Trade down, get some pickd and offer a second at most for Vilma.
Also, Smith and Grant are overrated. Grant seems to have lost the ability to rush the passer, and Smith has never even tried to stop the run. They have the potential to be great, but that's all it is right now.

I think Vilma has only had one year lost to injury, and dude has been seriously miscast as a 3-4 player, as has Robertson. I would give up even a top 10 for an elite DT talent, who will be a stud once he hits a 4-3 and a Pro Bowl level MLB.

If they can be guarenteed to come back and stay healthy I wouldn't id that kind of trade, but if Vilma is less han 100% it is a bad trade.

I dont remeber him having much of an injury history before this year, and he is still young, so he should be able to cmeback 100%. Now If he was like 29, then I would be worried

Vilma has always had minor injury problems back to his days at Miami, I don't know about Big R.

Now the Saints are a team IMO that cant afford or shouldnt go for a guy like Samuel. With that kind of money and their needs they need 3-4 bodies on D alone.

Glad we didn't give him as much money as he wanted. He would have been one hell of an upgrade over David, Thomas and Craft, but he would be worth the amount we would have had to pay, plus he would have impeded the ability to get a guy we need more in Briggs. The front seven on this team has been awful and they can make crappy corners look much better.
