Every team has "camp guys" players they sign that do not have a chance to make the team but are needed to run all the practices. This is like the Chargers signing Gates. I am not saying they will do as well but getting players that will not make it as a pro in their sport that have some skills that could transfer over to the NFL. It is worth the chance. World-class wrestlers grapple with football in Jets camp - NFL - Yahoo! Sports __________________

He was a football player that could not stay out of trouble or in shape. These guys should be in shape but just need time to learn the game.
