A third rounder is too much for a pure goal-line back like TJ Duckett. Duckett has virtually no speed and is like a poor man's Jerome Bettis - he'll get you 100 yards a game but it'll take him 30 to 35 carries to do it.

Not worth it... do it for a 5th, 6th, or J-Mac and then we're talking.

Yeh I think 3rd round pick is a little too generous. I think they should just settle with Houston and Blaylock.

Well J-Mac (sorry for the abbreviations, there are a few guys on this team that I don't feel like spelling out their names and J-Mac is one of them) got into the new CS's doghouse after failing that endurance test, so I don't think he'll be on the roster come September.

I suggested somewhere else on this board to try and deal J-Mac head up for Ashley Lelie... move 2 disgruntled, lazy, but talented WRs for eachother and see if a change of scenery can help them.

Duckett ran a 4.45 40, so he's hardly a goal line only back. If used properly in the right scheme, I think he COULD be very good. Here's a link..of course the size is a typo.
