Even though it's obvious to everyone inside and outside the organization that Chad Pennington will be the opening-day starter, coach Eric Mangini indicated yesterday that he won't announce his choice before Friday night's preseason finale against the Eagles.
"I really haven't set a timetable on that," he said.
Mangini hinted that he may not name the starter before the season opener in Tennessee.
