This is the latest rumur thread for the Jets, I guess I can swing it back and toss out there that the Jets have been very active in trying to trade for Schaub for Abraham, you have any thoughts on that Mickey?

if they can get Schaub for Abraham i say they do it. Matt may not be great but he is better than Pennington. the only way they shoudn't pull the trigger is if they know they can get a qb in the draft. if they can then they should look to move Abraham some place else.

it just seems that there are so many rumors with abraham and yet none seem to come to fruition. are the jets asking too much?

That was the first thing I heard today Ellis was that this deal is going to be called off because of the Jets asking price which was Schaub and a 2nd rounder, the 2nd round pick is holding the deal up for them. But teams need to keep in mind that Schaub is a FA next year and he will almost certainly get starter money somewhere so they should try to get something for him IMO.
