Default latest rumor

Latest word is the The jets are gonna trade Abraham and their pick to the Texans for the First Pick so they can take Lienert.

If this is the case, What does that do to the Saints who, through all this bush talk were seemingly going to take lienert. Also, I heard that people in NO do not want Vince, so what do they do?

Take Cutler or Trade down

Tenn will take Vince and then Houston gets the same choice between Bush and The Brick. Is this a plausible scenario?

I have also heard that the Jets want to trade up with the Texans, but I heard they were most impressed with Cutler out of the quarterbacks, and possibly considering taking Reggie Bush as well. Personally I don't think they should trade up, because I think Cutler will still be available at 4, and they can take him them, but a lot can change between now and the draft...

The Jets are desperate with their QB situation and if they get the Texans pick, I think they'll go for Leinart instead of Cutler.

I agree that Leinart is the better player, I'm just telling you that the local New York media is reporting the Jets like Cutler better than Leinart or Young...

I research all the papers and I saw that too. With the Jets having the 4th pick, Cutler is the more probable pick so that's probally why they like him more. If they want him, they'll get him unless the previous picks suprise us. If they somehow get the Texans pick I don't think they'll go Cutler, but that's just my opinion.

Cutler for them IMO would just be bad...I like his talent but he doesn't look like he can play football at all if that makes sense..

Ya, I don't think Cutler is the answer, but then again I wasn't overly impressed with Matt Leinart either. He is probably the best QB in the draft, but I just don't think he has what it takes in the NFL...

See I like Young as the best QB then Lienhart then (and it's far) Cutler...

Young just shown me a lot with the way he's progressed the past 2 seasons, a couple years back he was supposed to be a Mike Vick and couldn't pass. Then displayed IMO the work ethic in the off season and came back and led the nation in passing efficiency while not losing step running the ball.

I agree with you that Vince Young will be the better QB in probably 2 years, as he is still progressing, whereas Leinart has kind of hit his peak, but right now I would say Matt Leinart is the better QB, and probably will be for his rookie season, but not much longer than that...

if NO has the chance they should grab Vince. I think Cutler will be an ok qb in the pros, but he won't fill the stands like Vince will.
