Default Thomas Jones, a dissapontment?

Thomas Jones was drafted, to fill some big shoes that were lost last season in replacing Curtis Martin. But the problem is, Curtis Martin got out of the backfield. I'm very dissapointed at Jones ... He hasn't done much or anything. Our offensive line must pick it up, IMO he isn't THAT great. What do you guys think is wrong with his performance so far?

Here's a question that I asked a fellow Bears fan when he was ranting about how much he loved TJ here in Chicago.

Did you ever hear of him before he came here?

He couldn't really answer, because the answer is no. He was a bust for both the Cards and Bucs, so what makes you think he'd be so great on another middle of the pack team. He performed well enough in a contract year to get signed, and that's about it. Good luck with TJ.

He has been kinda disappointing so far. But its ony week 2 and he was hurt through most opf preseason. Sometimes it takes backs a while to fitt into a new O and get some chemistry with the line. But if the guy is still getting stuffed in week 5 then I will call to start Washington.

funny cause he had better '04 and '05 seasons then last year.... sometimes it takes a player longer to get his game in full effect

he has gone against NE and BAL, both top 5 defenses.... LT is averaging 1.9 yards per carry his 1st 2 games so i guess he sucks too

So you had heard of Thomas Jones before he came to the Bears? He did so many outstanding things in those two previous stops?

I really want to know.
