Default Its time to bench Chad

oops - not Cad lol - Chad

Like most Jet fans I l have loved Chad over the years. It was great rooting for him and I always had faith in him.

But that faith is pretty much dead now. Its become painfully clear that he needs to be the backup. Not just because of the mistakes he has been making. But in the end, the lack of passing power really is killing us.

I saw a Giants defense yesteerday that only had to cover a short field. And thats all they needed to cover. After 4 games its obvious Chad still cant throw much over 20 yards. He cant keep the defense honest. Especailly the safities - and that is hurting our running game.

I wish Chad the best and he is a great backup to have. But its time to hand it over to the young guy.

Kellen Clemens is our future (we hope). He did pretty good in his first start at Baltimore. At 1-4 its time to give him a shot.

Kellen Clemens will be good for sure..
But if you throw him in now he will be mincemeat for defenses

I have been saying this for... 3 years now? I havent wanted chad for a long time, and it looks like people finally are seeing why. THe guy cant throw.

Please, anyone but Chad ... even Testaverde again! Maybe even take Morten Anderson, although hes a kicker....?

PUT CLEMENS iIN! Its time to do it, and I hope mangini does.
