Jets interested in bringing back Ty Law

The Jets apparently are serious about re-signing former Pro Bowl CB Ty Law, who met with team officials Wednesday at Hofstra. They're also serious about trading DT Dewayne Robertson, as the Jets reportedly have rekindled trade talks with the Broncos.

Law, released by the Jets in 2006, indicated the Jets may have an edge over the Patriots, who are believed to be interested in re-signing him. He was cut recently by the Chiefs. Law, 34, had a career-high 10 interceptions and made the Pro Bowl in his only Jet season, but he was released because of his bloated contract.

they want to get him to play safety though, not Defensive Back


he said its down to Pats and Jets so we'll see how it plays out



and Jets will have a hard time loading off Robertson, nobody wants him cause of his knee and horrible contract

I bet Robertson is a june 1st casualty. I read that cincy could end up getting him for nothing

I can see Law going to either one. Don't know how much space the jets have under the cap, but the pats have like 12.5 I think..
