Why dont the Jets draft a QB in the first round, they have a solid pick. Get one of the elites in the draft.

they could draft a qb, but for the time being what they have is good enough. They need to use this pick to upgrade on other positions.

It could give them something to build around. Backup running backs and receivers can generally come in as starters and have a better shot at adapting to the system than most qbs, but not always....tom brady

I saw Ramsey a few years ago against Dallas and he looked great, at the time I thought he was going to be a hot young Qb, Didnt work out though, but i think it shows that givin the right situation Ramsey can be a good NFL QB.

That was the year they went to the playoffs and had an awsome D. Im just trying to say that Ramsey has had success in the NFL so his "game" is solid, I believe if wins the job, and avoids injuries, he will be a good pickup for the jets, he just needs to be more consistant

i think it was more like even the sun shines on the dog's you know what some days, I feel that he is not a good QB and won't amount to much more than a clipboard holder in the NFL, but that's JMO.

Im not predicting the second comming of Nameth, But i feel Ramsey caught a raw deal from the Skins (apparently they dont trust young QB's)I still think he could become a solid starter for the Jets

Excerpt

"He's short (5 feet 11) and he suffered a handful of concussions in college.

Last summer, he was involved in a domestic incident with his girlfriend, eventually pleading no contest to disorderly conduct and performing community service.

Sims has tried to reassure Cardinals officials that it was an isolated incident, not a sign of more trouble to come.

The concussions are a worry, too, given the way Sims plays. He admittedly tries to knock out opponents, a style that has attracted attention from scouts. But it also makes them worry that he'll spend too much time on injured reserve because of it."
