that's what I said bigboy and he had those targets when he first came to DENVER and still sucked, It wasn't until SOMEBODY - (here is your semantic game, because this is all speculation) changed him from thinking he can change the game in one play to actually managing a game. It didn't happen in his first year or even his second year. It wasn't until this year. So it was obviously more than just the players around him.
So who was it?? My point is simple on this issue...you or anybody else doesn't have a clue what "changed" Jake Plummer, whether it be players, coaches or just a matter of him maturing.
You said "shannahan did an almost unbelievable job developing plummer from a free throwing maniac is a composed leader under center." When you really have no idea...that's speculation and can't be told as fact, that's all I'm saying.
Keeping it on topic though, I'm going to toss Ngata on that list of busts too. He just reminds me too much of Kennedy from Penn State and is a limited DT, I never understood basically taking a nose tackle that early.
it's all speculation, this entire forum is, that is supposed to go without saying. Do I really need to post I think, in my feelings, or I speculate every single time I post. you are right I did not speak to shanny and witness him changing plummer, but I SPECULATE that the head coach had something to do with HIS QB getting better.
I wouldn't say that Chris. Them's fightin' words, and last time I checked, both of you were being dominated by the 'Skins. So until you do something in the playoffs, just sit back and wait, build up the trash talk, and be ready to explode on the Iggle SOB's. Until then remember this, the Saints beat you the last two times we played you.... HAHAHAHAHA
Chargers | Cromartie frequently lost during practice
Sat, 20 May 2006 12:03:14 -0700
Kevin Acee, writing for the Sporting News, reports San Diego Chargers CB Antonio Cromartie stood out at times during the team's rookie camp for his obvious skills and talent hawking the ball. However, he was lost frequently, especially on the third day when veterans joined in. He was easily duped on routes and at times, went the wrong way.
I think those are mistakes he can fix. Keep in mind, he missed the whole 2005 season. So I think when he gets back to where he use to be, that wont be a problem. Those are just mistakes because he hasnt played in a while.
