we don't need a FA WR next year because we will have Owens and Glenn...the following year if we don't then there might be some good ones available...and knowing how Jerry works he will get the best there is.

Dallas' best team have been built through the draft, if they take your approach and just sign free agents instead of building for the future they will be just like the Redskins and I'm sure that is what you want.

I thought he was trying to say that we should sign a 2 or 3 year vet instead of drafting one...?
anyway...yeah that team of the nineties was built from the draft but that was the luckiest drafting of all time...we got numerous probowlers from the 5th and 6th rounds...
the only piont i was trying to make out of all of this is that the Cowboys have much bigger holes than WR...

I think the Broncos may need another corner with the lost of Darrent Williams RIP and a safety because Lynch is slowing down. Another need is a PR/KR we have horrible special teams

The Cowboys have other places they could go in the first round, and are probobly better off picking a G. But WR is still a viable option their, and I wouldnt cry if they did take one. Glenn and Owens arent going to be around that much longer, and a dropoff in production could happen at anytime with those two. IMO Owens is still a very good WR, but he is not the dominant player he was before. And at some point over the next couple of years we are going to need new blood there. You go the FA route you are going to wind up screwing yourself over with some overpriced talent that you still have to work into your offence. You take a player like Ginn, and he gets what, 20- 40 touches on offence as a rookie, but him and Romo build chemestry that will help once he becomes a starter.

I think my Cowboys need a safety first... Next I say offensive lineman... After that probably a wide reciver to play behind Patrick Crayton on the depth chart...

You're just about right for the Ravens thats only if we get Dominic Rhodes from FA...If we dont then I would put the need of a RB higher up to maybe the 3rd or higher...And Ravens pick is #29 not #30.

I don't really agree with this... Our team needs for a safety or offensive lineman in my opinion are way more than a wide reciever right now... The only reason that Tony Romo is starting right now is because of that
offensive line and how bad they played this season... For the safety... Well the that position is the main reason for our teams poor performance down the stretch of season... That is why we NEED and MUST HAVE Reggie Nelson....
