Not to mention they could actually help get the bigger schools a little more money with a few home games, which you know is what every president wants, keep non-BCS schools down.
Don't act like the 50 day layoff, loss of Ted Ginn, and horrible coaching job/ gameplan by Tressel didn't help the Gators out though, either. Florida dominated from 12 seconds in to the end, but the Suckeyes hadn't played in almost two months, and they had to have had the worst gameplan I have ever seen, did they even watch any tape on how to stop Florida's offense? Playing soft zone and not blitzing were good calls.... not so much!!
The one thing I was surprised most about was the Ridiculous effort Florida came out with, and the nonchalant almost thinking they should be given a win effort OSU gave. All we need now is the Florida/Boise/USC/ LSU playoff and the season is over, oh wait, we don't get a true national champion because the presidents want to make more money, thanks for being the worst postseason in the world NCAA football.
We are the undisputed number one team in the nation... We will beat the living crap out of Boise State if we play them... Ohio State was the number one team in the nation that nobody that could be beat and we went there and did not just beat them, but destroyed them... You need to quit being a Florida Gator hater just because you are a Florida State fan and give us the credit we deserve...

Dude shut up, you beat a team that had a gameplan that allowed the Gators to run free, FSU shut your receivers down by manning up and OSU apparently decided that shutting Florida's offense down was not the way they wanted to go. Undisputed number 1, only because the BCS says so, are the Gators undefeated? No, is there a team that is, yes, and since there is no NCAA recognized national champ, BOise can throw up a banner that says undefeated National Champs, and the NCAA can't do a thing about it. Undisputed means they have no competition for the title, and any undefeated team has a claim to a title, which is the flaw with the BCS. So until they have a playoff there is no such thing as an undisputed national champ, because any undefeated team that is left out of the title game HAS A DISPUTE.

You are just jealous that Florida State is not the NATIONAL CHAMPIONS OF THE NCAA!!!!
This is an example of why the BCS sucks. God I wish there was a playoff system, because arguments like this wouldn't happen. Plus I like the concept of a cinderella team having a chance to win like in basketball. Another problem is that month long layoff between the season and the bowl games. That could be time used for playoff games. Plus having a playoff system would better prepare these kids for the NFL since a lot of rookies seem to burn out in the later part of the season. NCAA football will never learn though.

I have to agree with this, they really need to get a playoff system in place and hopefully by next year.
Here is a reason even Chris can understand for needing a playoff. What if USC doesn't lose to UCLA, Florida never gets a shot. What if the voters don't decide to jump Florida ovwr Michigan, Florida never gets a shot. Who's to say Boise can't beat Florida, USC, Ohio State; some voters? They don't get a shot, and that's why they need a playoff system.

The argument that the NCAA will use is that it falls during finals period. But doesnt March Maddness fall during a school period too. How many classes do you think Joakim Noah went to last March Plus these guys would have time to practice, play, study, and go to class.
