dont forget about the dline and oline talent coming out as well bigdaddy. yeah it wasn't a great WR draft. but i disagree with you about the RB's and LB's, especially the LB's. you say that there are a bunch of maybes but anything after the first round is always a maybe, and there is a ton of talent at that position, all the way through round 6. Also, don't forget the DB class was pretty nice too.

Yeh I think this draft features depth in almost all of the positions execpt for WR's.

I really have to question the line talent. With the exception of the obvious stars, everyone else has major issues, be they physical, or mental. Many people besides myself see this draft as a ho-hum affair. All the skilled positions are either over-rated (as a whole) or simply not there. "D" backs are a dime a dozen in every draft. The Linemen have serious issues both on and off the field. Some will succeed, but many will not. The TE's are the best in years. This was a TE draft, and nothing else.

I don't agree with that...the RB and QB class was pretty deep and talented too IMO.

and the line was as deep as any, you say some will make it and some won't, welcome to every single draft in the history of drafts. the potential is there for a lot more players than usual, hence it is a deep draft. you are the only person I have come across to not think that this draft was not deep.

What? First of all, D'Brick is o-line. It was the right draft pick. They don't need Leinart. You're crazy.

Lightbulb Jets Draft-one of their best in quite some time

Well, not to drop names here, but i have been at every draft since '87 w/Press Access(and a few before that as a student of the game), and Pat Kirwan told several of us at the end of day two that Clemens was the one QB with the Most spin on the ball. I Know Mr. Kirwan almost 15 years, and before he wrote for Cnn-SI and NFL.com
He (in reverse order) was Dir. of player Admin. for the Jets, an Asst. coach for the Jets(under Weeb) an asst. at Hofstra, and the Head coach at Kellenburg HS. here on L.I. Point is: if Pat says it's so, so it is.

Jets draft-06-one of the top 5 or 6-need wise. I've been saying for a long time that you need three to five years to fully evaluate the value of a teams selections.

lol i thought they had one of the best drafts
They got the Best Center And The Best Tackle In the Draft.. what more is there to ask for?
They Have an Oline for years to come if those 2 picks come through

As for the QB situation, i've heard Kellen Clemens is Competing for the starting job even

Great Picks..

if clemens didn't get hurt he would have been drafted higher than cutler. He is a great QB that if he overcomes his injuries, he could be real good in the future, I think the jets had a great draft.

Do you honestly think he gets drafted higher than Cutler. Because Cutler has the potential to be better than Young and Leinart.
