cutler was a second or third round pick heading into the combine. After the combine, he was all of a sudden one of the best QB's in the draft. I am pretty sure that if clemens played the whole season injury free, he would have been drafted higher than cutler. I think he is a better talent. Cutler has some skills, but I just don't think as highly of him as others do.

Yes he really showed of his stuff in the combine, and thats when most teams recognized how good he was. But regardless, he would still have been no lower than a second round pick.

I could agree with that j, but i just think that clemens would have been higher if he was healthy. that's JMO.

O yeh, I agree. Theres no doubt in my mind that he wouldnt have been. I just think that even if he is healthy Cutler is still better and ranked higher coming into the draft.

i just signed up as a new member here and this is the first thing i saw, you just can please all jet fans but i loved the jets draft but the only question i had at the time was eric smith but now i unerstand he is a great team leader and wants to win and mangini was looking for those types of players in this draft and im very pleased in the way mangini is bringing us

well, I think that penny will win it, but it is only a matter of time before that noodle he calls an arm will give way and thus open the door for clemens, I think ramsey is a stiff and won't ever cut it in the nfl
