It is a fact that vince will not play until the earliest the end of next season, it has been stated that they will bring him along slowly like they did with mcnair, dead issue
Also, the texans have DD and morency, they NEEDED dline and oline, they signed moulds and have johnson. they did not need a RB that may be great as a part time runner/WR. He will not get more than 15 touches a game and NO has already said that they are not going to use him as a kick returner. The texans knew what they needed and took what they needed. simple.
I thought Volek did an excellent job when he played in place of Mcnair, so I would be comfortable with him starting. The question will be in Young learning to be a passer from Volek. He throws a good deep ball and if Vince learns how to make those throws under control he could become a quality QB.
TExans should have traded the pick to the jets for there first round picks, and then taken fergison and mangold. There offense is still flawed from there line. Williams was overrated and wont help that defense much.

The Jets wouldn't do that, the Saints wanted something like that and the Jets refused.
yeah volek is already the definate starter for the titans. i think young will learn sum from volek but not like he would if mcnair was still around. young will end up bein a good QB in the future though.
Young could be a great QB, but he needs to develop quickly, because when this team is 2-6, less intelligent fans will be yelling for heads if Young isn't in there.
So, why did the Texans Take Williams over Bush?
