Id be happier seeing bush in a jets uni

i truly dont understand how Abraham + the #4 overall doesnt equal Mario Williams for the texans, with the 3rd or 2nd round pick as topping

I am happy for the Saints. They really needed something to feel good about...to look forward to. Lately, deciding between the Jets and the Saints, is like trying to figure out who to invite to Thanksgiving dinner. Charles Manson, or Ted Bundy.

I know right, i'd take abraham over him anyway. If they did that Bush wouldve been #1 (which he deserved). Saints wouldve taken Brick #2, Titans had their eyes set on Young all along at #3. And there at #4 wouldve been Mario Williams or A.J Hawk since they would already have Abraham.

Mario looked good in his pre season game last night. The highlights show him having alot of strength and speed. This pick will work out for them.

It might work out, but not like if they had a Reggie Bush.

Getting Willams over Bush isn't that bad. Willams is a force no one has ever seen. Bush has playmaking ability no one has ever seen. The problem isn't the fact that the Texans took Willams. Its the way they got him. They probably could have traded down to the thrid pick or something, got some good players cause their trading down, and still would have signed Mario Willams.

The Texans could have had both bush and a great DE. The giants picked up mathias kiwanuka, out of boston college, who has looked spectacular in his first two preseason games. He has had 1.5 sacks in each of his games, forced a fumble, and has been chasing the qb all over the backfield. He has the speed and the moves to be a great DE. The texans could have taken bush and moved up a few picks out of the second round to take Kiwanuka. I'm not by any means saying that Kiwanuka is Better than Mario Williams. But who would you rather have? Mario Williams (1st round) and Demeco Ryans (second round), or Mathias Kiwanuka and Reggie Bush. Although as they say, hindsight is 20/20.

You would have to assume they tried to trade down but didn't get a worthy offer

Kiwanuka is better than williams, Kiwanuka got hurt an slipped in the draft, but he was the top DE prospect once.
