I recall that Manny Lawson was a more consistant player than mario williams at NC State. The Texans fell in love with Mario's physical attributes. He is still very raw and has much to learn. If he is 6'5" 295 lbs., and ran a 4.65 or whatever, why didn't he dominate in the NCAA? Picking a player because of his size and speed is not a very smart. On the other hand, if he stayed in school for another season and put up huge numbers, maybe then he'd deserve that first pick overrall honor. I can't help but mention that Williams had the privelege of playing on a superb Defensive line with Manny Lawson and John McCargo. Not to mention Tank Tyler, a DT on the same line that will get drafted in next year's draft. Tank plays like a tank, therefore the nickname. Kiwanuka on the other hand went to Boston College and over four years set the team's sack record. He was unfortanutely injured, and had a poor senior bowl, but fortunately for the NY Giants he fell to them at 32. Heck anybody would have a poor senior bowl coming off an injury and going up against the likes of D'Brickshaw Ferguson and Marcus McNeil.
I was begging for lawson or Kiwanuka to slip to the second round for the steelers to pick up i'd take either of them because their gonna play OLB and be very productive. Mario Williams isnt #1 overall material if you ask me.

Mario williams has been seen before, a tall fast DE, um Strahan, Osi, Peppers, KGB and a few others.
I have compared Bush to Dunn, and I remember seeing Ellis compare him to Garner, I think he is somewhere in the middle of those two. I think he will be a better runner than Garner and a better reciever than Dunn, but he will be in that class of back, which isnt bad
