Anyone want to do a mock draft competion here?

Ive never done one before, so I dont know how the scoring goes, but Im sure theirs guys that do.

Besides the vBookie events that I have going on I will try and run a few games also. What I have done in the past is a 2 round mock competion that will have first round winner, second round winner and over all winner. A First round or Bust game where you pick who you think will be a first round pick each right answer you get a point one wrong pick and you loose. I have been try to think up some more stuff if you have any ideas let me know.

We can do it alot like we do the current players fantasy draft, where we have a few guys oversee the proccess to make it run smooth. That thing has been ridiculously smooth (good job P-Rez, blkwdw ) and is one of the reasons I want to do a mock compition, because we have had suuccess with things like this just using threads.

I like the idea of a point for a hit and one for a miss. Should it be on scale with the pick?, Say top 1-5 gets x amount of points. 5-10 gets x amount, and so on?

I wanted to start this early (we still have 4 weeks) so we can get a good system in place before we really start.

Im gonna do some reserch tonite after work, and I have a few Ideas of my own, like using "draftek" for risers and fallers.

we did a comp last year that ufcnolefan won, we all antied up a certain amount of points and whoever got the most "points" won, you got a certain number of points for getting the player, team and spot drafted correct. I'm sure it will be easy to find in the nfl draft forum archives
