This time of year every fan is a homer and says that their team had the best draft because their coach/GM said they got the players they wanted. I am going out on a limb here and say that the team with the best 07 draft is the 49ers. I know the draft has not even happened yet but this is a team that needs to be watched. They were close to making it to the playoffs last year. Gore and Smith look like they will be good players and this year they have 10 picks in the draft to add even more young players. The real big thing is that they have 8 picks in the first 4 rounds. This is a draft where there are few first round prospects (18) and a lot of 2nd to 3rd picks (60+).

They played in a tough divison, and almost won 8 games, and played some very good teams tough.

They could go 4 different places with their #1

MLB- Willis is the right pick at 12

HB- Peterson may go to them if he falls. Wouldnt be a bad pick, and they would probably take him over Willis. But I still think Willis is the guy for them

RT- I think the Bills line is going to be greatly improved next year. Peters is on of the most underrated Lineman in the game, Gandy settled in at Guard after struggling at Tackle, and Dockery should help solidify the interior. Pennington started the last quarter of his rookie season and played well, but if road grater like Brown falls, I can see them going there.

WR- possible, but IMO the would be better served to take a look at a possesion guy like Dallas baker in the mid rounds.

This is all good but most "rookies" spend the first year on the bench till they learn the teams plays/coverages ect. Also I've seen rooks think they're down when their knee hits and then get hammered cause it's the NFL now.
