My standouts have gotta be...Matt Leinart to the Cards...Jimmy Williams to the Falcons...Chad Jackson to the Pats...Winston Justice to the Eagles...LenDale White to the Titans.
Chad Jackson will be a bust. White is iffy. Yes, he scored more TD's than Bush (actually the most in the NCAA last year) but he didn't show the presense of mind to eat right while injured, so he came into the draft way too heavy. If the kid gets his head on straight, he'll be pretty good. Winston Justice is overrated. Jimmy Williams was a reach.

How is Winston Justice overrated? I admit he has some character issues, but he has some great skills.

Not bad from a fan of a team that had the biggest reach of all in round 1. Jackson will work nicely into the Pats system. At #36 he was a good pick. White is very iffy. Someone needs to keep his head glued to his shoulders, especially during the off season. He is a bust waiting to happen. Justice was also a good pick, but I would have gone for Lutui before him. Still, he is a better choice at #39 than Joesph at #23. Williams was the Falcons pick going into the draft. They were willing to take him in round 1, so taking him at #37 in round two is a steal, especially when you realize that they got a super DT in the process.

Realize that the Eagles needed a tackle, and got the best one available IMO.

how could a guy that was rated as a first rounder, but then slipped to the second round considered overrated. overrated to me is a guy that is supposed to go second round, but is picked in the first. He is bigger than ferguson and handles guys. He will be a monster

If you are talking about Winston Justice, you really should learn something about West Coast College Football. There is no way he is better than Ferguson. He has instances of brilliant play, but does not have the heart nor the ambition to play 100% on every play. He also played with a very good OL, and a fabulous backfield. He probably belongs in the 2nd round. He is not a bad pick, but certainly is no Ferguson. Why are there so many "homer" posts in here?

Anyone proclaiming Winston Justice to be a "great pick" hasn't seen the film on this kid. He takes plays off, his run blocking is at times non-existant, and he's a bit overweight. The media was high on him because he came from USC, but in reality, Reggie Bush made him look a lot better than he is. In all reality, this guy should've been a 3rd rounder. To even suggest him as a first rounder made him OVERRATED.
Both of you are over-stating your points of view here. Justice was a second round pick, and probably was the best that the Eagles could have taken if they wanted a Tackle that badly. Having said that, he is certainly no Ferguson, and will probably never be an all pro player. He will be a good solid tackle, but not an all start caliber tackle.

I never said he was better than ferguson, I said he was bigger. Re read my post. I am a homer, but that has nothing to do with it. Again being overrated is a guy that is drafted too high, which you even agree that justice was not. Why do you feel the need to bait me, when your facts are incorrect.
the eagles have drafted Dlinemen with there #1 pick in three consecutive drafts
McDougle DE, Patterson DT, Bunkley DT, Acquired Kearse in Free Agency
they better love their defensive line jeeze
Am i the only one who's noticed this or what?
btw back on topic... Jimmy Williams was nice
i think Winston Justice shoulda stayed in school and was overrated but still a great 2nd round pick
The Best Steal is Leinart who Would have been a Execellent #1 overall Pick for the 49ers last year IMO
Danieal Manning For the Bears May be a bust since he did play DivII ball
his stats are good but not great, i'm gonna keep track of him
