My second favorite college team is Rutgers (proximity with me living in the NYC area). Ive watched almost every Rutgers game so far, and I was wondering on Brian Leonard's stock.

He doesnt have blazing speed or lateral movement, but hes a Mike Alstott clone (man he leveled one WVU corner/safety today) who seems to hit the holes well, has decent hands, uses his power to gain yards after contact and has pretty good balance for a big RB his size.

Also, do you project him to be an NFL RB or NFL FB.......Im pretty much figuring its a Mike Alstott type of "running FB"

He is one of few playmakers that RU has, next to WR Moses and QB Hart

I have been watching the games too, because Piscataway is my hometown, but I'm at college in PA now, but I still get the games

I like the guy, he's a pretty solid player, but I don't know about his draft stock

yeah.. being from Rutgers, he wouldn't get too much draft-stock attention

depending on the combine he has, it sounds like he could go in the 5th, or go undrafted..

He is a beast, been to a few games here and there, love what I see from him. He is the full package at FB, great hands, and a punshing runner to boot. A great fullback, and in my opinion the best FB in America. Next year he should be unarguably the best FB in America. When Hairston went down last year he took the load of the running back and played really well. I think he could go in the late first day next year if he plays really well during the rest of his time for the Scarlet Knights.

I got to meet him at a Rutgers event, hes also a real nice guy (much nice than Hairston, who ragged on me because im a Raiders fan and hes a 9er fan)
