I HAVE NO IDEA WHO IT IS OR IF THERE EVER WAS ONE. WAS JUST ASKING THE QUESTION, LOL.
IT JUST ADDS A REASON WHY I THINK SO MANY PEOPLE ARE OVER RATING AARON RODGERS.
I JUST CAN'T SEE A 6-1, 200 POUND QB, WITH NO BETTER THEN ABOVE AVERAGE ARM STRENGTH BEING THE #1 OVERALL PICK.

DJ, along with everywhere else i look, has him @ 6'2" and 210+. what gives? i've never heard of his arm strength to be an issue either. in fact, in this article which interviewed three anonymous nfl scouts one praised rodgers arm strength and one actually called leinart's armstrength strong enough, but not real strong. just wondering.
link. what gives?

HIS OFFICIAL BIO HAS HIM AT 6-2 AND 200 POUNDS. AND USUALLY THOSE ARE HIGHER THEN WHAT THEY REALLY ARE. I WOULD EXPECT HIM TO BE AROUND 6-1. AND HE OBVIOUSLY NEEDS TO GAIN TO STRENGTH AND MUSCLE. YOU CAN TELL THAT JUST BY LOOKING AT HIS NOODLE ARMS.
HIS ARM STRENGTH IS FINE. BUT LIKE I SAID ABOVE AVERAGE IS PROBABLY THE BEST YOU CAN CALL IT. ENOUGH TO MAKE MOST OF THE THROWS, BUT NOTHING LIKE RECENT #1'S CARR OR PALMER.
NOT ARGUING THE FACT THAT HE IS A TOP 10 PICK, BECAUSE HE PROBABLY IS IF HE COMES OUT. I JUST HAVE A TOUGH TIME BELEIVING A SMALL QB, WHO DOESN'T HAVE OUTSTANDING ARM STRENGTH WOULD BE THE #1 PICK IN THE DRAFT.
I WILL ADD THOUGH HE MAY END UP BEING THERE SORT OF BY DEFAULT, ESPECIALLY IF SOMEONE LIKE THE DOLPHINS HAVE THE PICK. BUT IS HE WORTH IT? I DON'T THINK SO.

Rogers was about 195 at the end of last season and has made an effort to put some weight on his frame....some places have him listed as high as 215 but the last weight check I got from the SID at Cal had him at 209.
Rogers doesn't have all world arm strength...certainly not comparable to Boller's but I don't see it as a problem or a weakness at all. I have him at #3 on my QB chart. I am on the fence right now as to whether I believe he should declare or stay for another season. Leinart I believe is the one QB who should come out.

IF HE DID COME OUT DJ, WHERE WOULD YOU HAVE HIM?
EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHER HAS HIM GOING #1 OVERALL TO THE DOLPHINS. I JUST DON'T SEE THAT HAPPENING.
