Troy Vincent = Jevon Kearse
Bobby Taylor = Dhani Jones
The way this would change if any of them were cut before the end of the season or didn't play a lot (they are all starters on their respective teams now).
That's 13 draft picks, 9 of which are tradeable. We know Andy likes to trade up, but who would be worth it for this team? We have the ammo to basically get anywhere we want in the draft, I have the following guys as potential trade up targets:
Derrick Johnson - Not going to happen since he will be a high pick, but it should would be nice to have a great linebacker for once. I woul d only trade up if he somehow dropped to around 10 or so, too costly otherwise.
Rod Wright - With Corey Simon likely leaving in the off-season(and we may get another pick depening if we franchise him) we may want to draft a DT.
Ahmad Brooks - Would like to have a great LB on our team.
Alex Barron - Tra Thomas has played great football thus far this season, but he is getting older and the Eagles like to look toward the future. He could come in and learn the ropes and then take over eventually for Tra.
Would you stand pat with the picks and get a number of good players, or try and move up and land an impact player like we've tried to do the past 2 seasons?
IMO, we should move up to grab Haolati Nagoata from Orgon. This guy could be a beast as a replacement to Simon. He is big at 6'5 345 but has great quickness for someone his size. HE reminds me of a Kris Jenkins.
I think he may fall to around the mid 1st simply because he had an injury to his knee last year, and because no team really needs a big DT desperately.
Also, if we can trade Simon for a 1st id really like to trade up for a WR. If therewas any way to get say, pick 20 for Simon, than trade that and out original 2nd to move up to around 10 and get Braylan Edwards or Mike williams it would kick ***.
Of course, it wont happen, but as an eagles fan i can always hope.

Stand pat unless Johnson or Mike Williams slip a bit. Yes I said Mike Williams....why not have this guy learn from a receiver like TO with Pinkston being cut from the team to make room.
If the Eagles stand pat I would look for a linebacker or DT with a running back in the mix. I have them with Ronnie Brown of Auburn in round 1 right now. Big physical back who can catch the ball. The bigger compliment to Westbrook and you won't know how healthy Buckhalter is. They nearly went this route last year...they looked hard at Greg Jones. If Rian (Goo) Wallace comes out look for the Eagles to take him with one of their second round picks. The Eagles always seem to take a guy from one of the local Philly schools and Wallace is a big play LB from Temple who is a turnover creating machine.
I'm tired of having mediocre linebackers, I want an impact player at that position. I don't care if it's Julian Peterson in FA or grabbing one of the top lb's in the draft, im just tired of the mediocrity.

I'd strongly prefer to have a middle linebacker who can have a huge impact, but it's plain as day that the most impactful and explosive linebacker is Johnson. If it was conceivably possible, I would say he should be our top priority come the draft. But it will never happen.
Things that need to be address in my opinion, in order, are:
1. Linebacker (yes. we need some. haha)
2. Wide receiver (a strong secondary option would make this offense far more dangerous. 6'4 with decent speed and good hands. mmmmm)
3. Corner (we need some depth. bad)
4. DT
5. Halfback
6. O line
There aren't many glaring weaknesses... which is good.

"Goo" is right there and could be a first rounder...most likely a second rounder...other than Derrick Johnson nobody else in the country has a knack for causing turnovers like Wallace.
Those are all needs but I dont know how to place a value on whats the most necessary. If simon leaves, then DT. If Runyan leaves, then OL. If no FA RB pops up and we let Buck go, then RB. We need to address alot of positions for the next year.
Goo may not even come out this year. Hes a junior and is still mulling it over. I dont think that makes him 1st round material.
We have solid depth at DT. I think Thomas or Rayburn could step in and start. Likewise with the OL, RB, etc.
However, i think we could improve at DT, LB, RB, WR.
If possible, id like to trade Simon and say, KC's 3rd to move up for a WR. Either Edwards or Mike Williams. either one would be great. Than, with our original 1st id like to trade up a few spots, maybe to say, the mid 20's to grab a DT. Hawthorne would be great if he falls but my personal pick would be Nagoata from Oregon.
finally, with Miamis 2nd if grab Ronnie Brown from Auburn and finally, id trade our original 2nd and 3rd to move up for Lance Mitchell.
In Free Agency we can grab Ryan Diem from Indy to step in at RT when Runyan leaves and keep Andrews at RG. With Hicks/Scuillo at LG and thomas and Fraley at LT and C, we should be set to go.

We can't trade Simon since he won't be under contract. We can only receive a draft pick for compensation if we choose to franchise him.
