Well it looks like we'll be around #10 or higher again. My favorite prospect is big bad Ernest Shazor, Safety, Michigan. IMO, Our biggest needs are at strong safety (Old Man Griffith is gonna be done soon), and OG. Drafting Shazor would give us great depth at safety; then we could trade Earl Little, and still have Shazor, Sean Jones, Chris Crocker, and Griff.
Maybe we could trade down or something, as well.
So in a nutshell, where do you think Shazor will be drafted, and do you think the Browns will be able to get him?

Browns should draft depending how high they pick, if their in the top 5-7 Antrel Rolle he will fit perfect with Butch Davis scheme. If higher than 10, Corey Webster from LSU, he's had a tough year he is still a shut down corner.

I've heard Antrel Rolle's name mentioned with the Browns a few times. At 6'1" 202, he's not shrimpy like McCutcheon at 5'10" 190 (although Cutch is a solid corner) and is probably the top CB prospect in the nation. He's a ballhawk too. I would be very happy with drafting Rolle if we end up drafting that high.

Shazor as our first rounder? That would be worse than passing on Roethlisberger...

He's one of the top three in the nation..
I know it might be a questionable call since we have Jones and Crocker, but yeah

Wonder if he would be able to start as a rookie?

I would take Rolle in the 1st and an OT in the 2nd. That will immediately boost the team.

make it an OG in the 2nd and OT in the third- we have horrible guard depth. Garmon, our best one, is out for the season as of Sunday. But yes, we need all the line help we can get.

Antrel Rolle would most likely start... first of all, he went to Miami. Second of all, he's better than any of our corners.
And we need a line more than anything. But I don't think there are many highly projected Miami, Boston College, or Virginia Tech linemen, so we probably won't take one high. Butch has a thing for ex-Big East teams.
