1.Miami-QB Matt Leinert USC
Neither of the QBs they currently have will be able to lead this team. However they would like to trade down once or twice pick up a couple of extra picks and take the top rated RB.
2.San Fransico-QB Aaron Rogers Cal
Tim Rattay isn't what they need at QB. Rogers has the ability to make that WRing Corp look like All-Pros.
3.Carolina-OT Alex Barron FSU
There O-line is the main reason for the fall this season. Barron is the top rated tackle and he will allow Gross to play RT where he seemed to be more comfortable.
4.Oakland-WR Mike Williams USC
They are still waiting for Jerry Porter to have a break out season, but I personally think he won't "break out" until they get a #1 WR out in Oak-Town.
5.Tampa Bay-WR Mark Clayton OU
After Micheal Clayton they have no real threats at WR and I think they'll take Clayton over Edwards because Edwards plays like M. Clayton and they want a more shifty WR on the other side
6.New Orleans-LB Derrick Johnson Texas
Outside of Watson who has played well for a rookie they have nothing but workout warriors and not football players playing LBer and hopefully the new coach will realize that.
7.Arizona-DT Rodrique Wright Texas
Wendell Bryant has been a disappointment so far, so the logical thing to do is bring in a player with talent and put him next to Bryant and hope they grow together.
8.Tennessee-DE Mathias Kiwanuka BC
Jevon Kearse's exit was a lot more painful than they anticipated, and they hope to replace the freak with a freak.
9.Dallas(Buf)-CB Antrel Rolle Miami
They have yet to find a player capable of starting opposite Newman and if Rolle falls this far they will waste no time picking him up.
10.Chicago-OT Jammal Brown OU
They need someone/anyone to play LT because Q. Mitchell just isn't working. Marco Colombo is hoping to come back, but you don't pass on Brown unless you are sure you have someone who can play the position.
11.Washington-DE Erasmus James Wisconsin
Its simple he is a pass rush. I beleive he would end there need to blitz.
12.Kansas City-LB Ahmad Brooks VU
They need to find players on the defensive side of the ball, and if nothing else Brooks is a playmaker.
13.Dallas-DE David Pollack Georgia
They have been very disappointed with the play of M. Wiley and he may end up on the chopping block just the same as Hugh Douglas this past off season.
14.Cincinnati-CB Corey Webster LSU
They need what I call a #1 CB. He isn't a shutdown corner but he does everything well which includes coming up a defending the run.
15.Cleveland-DT Anttaj Hawthorne Wisconsin
He is the best player on the board and even though it isn't an immediate need he is an upgrade.
16.Green Bay-CB Marlin Jackson MU
They traded away their top CB and it has become a weakness so if they have a chance they will address the need.
17.Houston-DT Orien Harris Miami
Seth Payne is nearing the end of a very productive career, and I know they won't let that become a problem by ignoring that fact so I expect them to keep building the defense with youth
18.Detroit-DE Marcus Spears LSU
With the retirement of Porcher I expect them to use this draft full of pass rusher to replace a great edge rusher
19.Indianapolis-RB Cedric Benson
With the cap room they have they are going to have to make a decision between James and Harrison and James will be the odd man out if only because he has had a major injury and Harrison hasn't
20.Baltimore-WR Chris Henry VU
I know its kind of shocking to see Henry ahead of Edwards, but I believe Henry will be a better pro player and its not a knock against Edwards because Henry will be an elite player sooner or later
21.St. Louis-DE Dan Cody OU
Their defense has gotten worse and I think that has more to do with Winstrom than Lovie Smith and I think Cody can become a better player than Winstrom
22.San Diego(NYG)-WR Braylon Edwards MU
Brees has been having an outstanding year. A year good enough to get him mentions when we talk about the MVP, but how many people realize A. Gates a TE is his top WR
23.Seattle-LB Lance Mitchell OU
Their defense has improve, but that doesn't mean it doesn't need improvements and I still think there weakness is up the middle of the defense and Mitchell could help improve that as well
24.Jacksonville-OT Micheal Munoz
Leftwich has been hit too many times this year which is why he is out for "2 weeks" and they need to address this before it has an even worse outcome for Leftwich
25.San Diego-WR Craphanso Thorpe FSU
Two WRs in the first round tells us just how much of a lack of talent they have right now which is why I vote Drew Brees MVP
26.Minnesota-TE Heath Miller VU
Jim Kliesassuer was a big part of the offense and right now who knows how he'll come back from the injury so why not take the top TE in the draft.
27.Denver-S Donte Nicholson OU
John Lynch is a stop gap and they need to find a replacement before it becomes a real liability
28.N.Y. Jets-CB Justin Miller Clemson
They missed A. Winfeild which means they recognized a weakness and tryed to address it, but had the rug pulled out from under them by Minnesota.
29.Atlanta-OT Andrew Whitworth LSU
Their O-line is still suspect and even though I feel like Whitworth isn't a first round prospect, but he is the best Tackle left on the board.
30.New England-RB Carnell Williams Auborn
They don't pass on a talent like this because they have Dillion. Case in point they took Ben Watson when they had used a first round pick on Daniel Graham two years ago
31.Philadelphia-S Darnell Bing USC
He is the one player left that can make a immediate impact on the defensive side of the ball.
32.Pittsburg-DT Haloti Ngata Oregon
He is perfect for the 3-4 defense and I believe he can rotate with C. Hampton and they wouldn't have to worry about a drop off in talent.
