I know he is dominating this year, but he is only 210 at 6'2; pretty thin for a nfl back, at the same time he is first NFL ready freshman I've seen. Guaranteed #1 in 2007 if not earlier. I hope he challenges the rule, it's pointless for him to stay 2 more years.

SO IT WOULD BE ALRIGHT FOR PETERSON TO CHALLENGE THE RULE, BUT EVERYONE COMPLAINED WHEN CLARETT DID IT?

peterson is good but he also has a very good o line. IMO i don't think he is better than williams, or benson. i think he is loosing three starters on the o line this year so next year will tell alot more. pointless for him to challange.

You want him to leave early for the pros? why are you in such a rush to ruin colleg football. Isn't the demise of college basketball enough? We have to destroy all college athletics now?...think things through, bud.

It is important to see if someone can produce consistanly. When half of Oklahoma's line goes to the pros, is he going to be as good? I think that is a very important question. Fortunately, we can thank Clarett for the fact that athletes will just look at him to have their desire to try entering early dissipate.
