why don't we just do 2 mocks and give each person 2 teams in each and if someone misses their, we could just have the person that has that team in the order mock pick for them

what do you think?

Thats geting kind of complicated. To do that we would have to have the drafts run relatively evenly.

for example. If in draft A the first 11 picks are quickly finished, and pick 12 misses his pick, than we have to ask pick 12 in draft B right? well, than say in mock B they are only on pick 5. We have no clue where the person with pick 12 is and he hasnt expected to have to pick so soon. That means we have to slow the entire mock down for that to happen.

Its up to you guys. If you want, ill create another thread for mocl B sign ups.

IMO, we should see if the people asking for teams are veteran posters. They have a solid amount of posts and havent missed many picks before. Im sure many of us can vouch for liebo, i dont know about Ramsfan but i think he did the last mock too.

Therefore, i think we should just give them their teams. BUT ONLY if they are people we can trust to be there on time.

I wont do anything until i get an approval by Nik and/or mouse but as far as i can tell we have 3 choices.

1) give teams to people we trust to be there and make their picks.
2) Create a 2nd draft and have them run relatively evenly. If a person misses their pick the corresponding GM in the other draft makes the pick.
3) Leave it as is and sorry to those who missed picking a team.

whats it gonna be?

I will vouch for RamsFan

okay than, we will give everyone who they want, but we will have vetern poster backing up the newbes if they happen to miss their pick, the vet will make there pick- do you get it ILOVEFOOTBALL, if not I will explain it again? no hard feeling

I think this will work better than 2 mocks, now that I think about it

I'd rather get rid of the Jags, but I guess you can have 'em seeing as you're a Rams fan

Okay, i understand what your saying.

The question is, what is a veteran poster and whats a newbie.

I think that each team should have 1 GM but that 1 veteran GM should be in each division. than if a person IN THAT Division misses a pick the Division GM makes it.

My idea is that its hard for a person to be the #2 GM and only make picks when the teams #1 GM misses the pick. Most fans know their division rivals pretty well and are hopefully trustworthy. This way, for example, if i were the NFC East head GM in addition to the Eagles GM, than if say, the Giants GM misses his pick, i know to look at OL, DT, and DB. Or if its the Redskins, i know to look at a DE. Again, i would only pick if the teams GM misses his pick.

do you get it.

Each person has their own team or possibly 2, but 1 of the 4 GM's in each division is ALSO the division GM.

I hope it makes sense.

Ill give the Rams to Ramsfan and the Raiders to liebo.
