I THINK I WOULD RATHER STAY PUT AND GRAB SOMEONE LIKE MIKE WILLIAMS OR BRAYLON EDWARDS IN THE 1ST. THE ONLY LT I WOULD LOOK AT THAT HIGH IS D'BRICKASHAW FERGUSON.
IF WE COULD TRADE DOWN FOR TWO 1ST ROUNDERS, I WOULDN'T BE UPSET AT ALL THOUGH. HOW COULD ANYONE BE UPSET POSSIBLY BRINGING IN SOMEONE LIKE MARK CLAYTON AND HEATH MILLER IN THE 1ST ROUND? OR A GUARD LIKE ELTON BROWN?
WITH ALL THE UNDERCLASSMEN THAT COULD POTENTIALLY ENTER AT TACKLE, I STILL LIKE OUR CHANCES OF FINDING A SOLID LT IN ROUND 2.
EXAMPLES
ROUND 1: MIKE WILLIAMS WR USC
ROUND 2: WESLEY BRITT LT ALABAMA
OR
ROUND 1: MARK CLAYTON WR OKLAHOMA, HEATH MILLER TE VIRGINIA, ELTON BROWN G VIRGINIA (2 OUT 3)
ROUND 2: WESLEY BRITT LT ALABAMA
EITHER WAY, WE ARE ADDING ALOT OF TALENT TO THE OFFENSE AT KEY SPOTS WE NEED HELP AT.

yeah i am not saying we should stand pat and grab an O-line guy but trade down like mouse said and get more bang for our buck.

so next year we're not going to the playoffs?
As far as D'Brickshaw....do you really feel he's going to make any impact his first year? I heard he was pretty raw...what's the difference with him and Colombo and Mitchell, then?
I'm not trying to argue - I'm just attempting to waste more time at work for the sake of discussion....but;
You've got
G - Brown / Tucker (good for at least 1 game before he gets injured again)
C- Kreutz
T - Tait
T - Colombo / Mitchell
TE - nobody
WR - nobody
FB- Johnson / McKie
TB - Jones
QB - Grossman
I don't believe we will ever be to a point where we can say that "Oline isn't a problem" or is "fixed"....it's a vicious cycle based year-to-year...

I DON'T KNOW IF I WOULD CALL HIM RAW, BUT HE NEEDS TO ADD SOME WEIGHT AND STRENGTH, THAT IS ABOUT IT. HE IS LISTED AT 295, BUT I WOULD GUESS HE IS REALLY PROBABLY ABOUT 10 POUNDS LIGHTER THEN THAT. HE CAME TO VIRGINIA WEIGHING ABOUT 265, AND LOOKS TO HAVE THE FRAME TO EASILIY GET UP TO A LEGIT 295-300 POUNDS
HE TENDS TO GET A LITTLE HIGH AT TIMES WITH HIS RUN BLOCKING, BUT IS ALREADY A SUPERB PASS BLOCKER. I HAVEN'T SEEN MANY, IF ANY OT'S IN COLLEGE THAT CAN MOVE LIKE HIM. I HAVE ONLY SEEN HIM GIVE UP 1 SACK IN THE GAMES THAT I HAVE SEEN.

I don't know, but that was a bonhead move (as much as I hate him at tackle, he was a good guard). perhaps the bears try and pick him up after the season? Mouse should be in charge of our player personnell

The Bears should use EVERY PICK on O-Linemen.
That would
Anybody know what's up with the Bears message board? Anybody a new mod on here?

Screw the Bears message board. For some reason, me and a few other posters( I found out on another Bears site) are suspended for some reason or another. Me and Mrkodi are suspended until July 10, 2005, and PeanutTillman is suspended until June 10, 2005. Another poster said that he was suspended until Oct. of 2005. I sent them an email complaining about their lack of moderation on the boards, and when I tried to get on later that night, it said that I was suspended. Then I think later that day, the boards went offline.

This offense is centered around generating the "big play"
|
This is where youre wrong, this offense is based on methodically moving the ball downfield on the strength of the offensive line. How many big play guys does KC have? Priest Holmes doesnt bust 80 yard TD runs, Gonzalez doesnt make 4 guys miss and run 65 yards after the catch.
