honestly. you guys need the cap space. Get a GM who isn't a total ****ing nut job. Get a coach with a sac. Pick up a guy like Jamaal Brown in the mid 1st and hopefully another 2nd or 3rd round pick. get a QB like Charlie Frye (3rd) or Orlovsky (2nd) and let Garthia care take for another year while the new coach installs his offense and the young guys/ o line gel. Then in year 2 of the new regime insert Frye or Orlovsky in and you guys'll be a ****ing terror.

A solid LT would really solidify this line... we could move Verba to LG which is his natural position, and have Garmon return at RG, Faine at C, and Tucker hopefully at RT. One of those second-round QB's wouldnt be a bad idea, but McClown is raw and you never know what could happen with him. Personally, I think he could grow greatly behind a solid line, and really lead the team to great things in his third year. He just has to cut down on these stupid mistakes- hell, today he rolled out of the pocket way too early and ended up on his ***, when he would have had Antonio Bryant open downfield!


It's this kind of **** that kills a good team's playoff hopes, and it's that kind of **** that we seriously have to cut out.

I think trading down would be the smartest choice for us. There are no linemen worth a top 10 pick this year, so we could just fall out of the first completely. This draft is DEEP. Trade into the early 2nd so we can get Marcus McNeil and Orlovsky or some combo like that. Trading out of the top 5, we'd get a ****load of picks... hopefully we do this, but our GM track record is less than ****ty...

Something we desperately need, possibly more than another GM, is a good trainer... 17 guys in the IR is too many. We have 2-3 guys gettintg knocked out of every game. That's ****ing pathetic. We need to keep our young guys like Andra and Andre' Davis healthy, while keeping our veterans healthy to tutor the young guys we have.
