It drives me crazy. People will ***** up and down when you give them Barron because it's not a sexy pick but my god, it's an important one. Barron is head and shoulders the best OT in this draft and if a team has that hole then by god take him!
I would think it would be an excellent pick for anyone in that range who needs a OT. 10-15 would be an ideal spot to take Barron.
If you need a OT and you pick in the top 15 you better grab him if he's there because it's unlikely Barnes or Brown will be there in Round 2.
It's not that it's not a "sexy" pick that pisses me off about it. I would like to see what Kelly Butler can do at RT. We start for him a few games to see how he does, and if he doesn't do well then Matt Joyce can slide over to RT. Joyce can move all around the OL and can start.

Defense is the way to go.
Maybe you don't feel that way but alot of people do. A team could have Bob Hope and Bob Barker as there starting tackles and they would ***** because Barron was picked.
Oh yeah I know what you're saying. If we didn't have Kelly Butler and we didn't know what he could do then I would be all for picking Barron. It's not a "sexy" pick but those types of picks make the "sexy" picks look better in the long run.
I'd just much rather wait till after this season to see if Butler can do it. If he can't, ok Joyce steps in and we draft/sign somebody next off-season.
