first day TE? even after signing Becht long term?

BMW/Barber III/Nugent looked real good...there was a lot of talk that the Bucs are going to take a CB on the first day, possibly with that second 3rd rounder...Barber and Kelly are gettin old and Smith left via FA...we have nothing left there...

Nugent might not be such a lock anymore either...Matt Bryant signed not too long ago...I think they're going to give him a shot...but thats 50/50 at this point
Dreessen would be more of an H-back...not a sure thing there just a feeling....

Thanks for the response.....glad you liked it for the most part.

Read the writeup...I think you will end up with him but you will have to trade up to do it...I just don't put actual trades in my order.....I will have to work on the wording for this next time...people have been confused by this.
I will be so pissed if we trade up for him...

I see the Ravens going Luis Castillo in the second, they want big bodies up front. Also while I am high on Brown, I don't know if they would take him after signing Kendrick Vincent this offseason.

I could live with this.
Rolle seems most likely to me at 6 right now.

Johnson played OG and some RT I believe....but he doesn't appear to be LT material. Is there anyone else who may be had in the 2nd that could play LT to at least be Hopkins backup? Of course RT is a need, but I think knowing the Titans history of drafting o-line later, they won't draft a RT in the 2nd unless he's capable of being a backup LT and possably Hopkins future replacement. Plus they have Jacob Bell to play RT, but he's somewhat of a question mark there (he also played OG and OT in college like I think Johnson did, and they waited till the 5th last year to take Bell).

There's WR's I'd rather have than Gibson (maybe one in the 2nd if no OT is taken there), but he seems like good value at this point and may be a good #3 for TN.

I've only heard a little about Anderson, and it was good. If McNair stays (sounds like he will) and with Volek, I doubt I'd take a QB early unless he's a great value there. I don't if this guy is or isn't.

I know most Colts fans would drop dead if that was how the Colts really did draft this year.....you assume that Edge won't be playing in Indy next year ? Only the kid from Iowa seems about right.

I think the 2 biggest omissions are Browner and Vernand Morency.....both dropping to day 2....both could easily go day 1 but you always have people that slide.....in this scenario these were the people to slide.

If Edge plays it is one more season at best....may as well groom the eventual replacement.....no question Edge is not there for the long haul

I have had mixed reactions from Colts fans...but the one pick everyone loves is McCune in round 3...more so than Babineaux...most of the Colts people were turning summersaults when they saw him in round 3 so if you don't like McCune you are in the minority.
