I would have preferred to get James, Pollack or Sean Cody at 18, but I'm alright with the trade up, mainly because I cant see what we gave up for it

WE will only trade up to get a wr, not a cb.

how do u see that. no more lamont and curtis martin is gettin pretty damn old.
I'm perfectly content with Curtis Martin and Derrick Blaylock. RB is far from a priority in the draft.

Another idiotic Saints pick. I know we don't draft smart, but come on guys...

I thought about Thomas Davis there, but they just signed Dwight Smith up...offense is pretty loaded already, defense they really only need a LB or CB and I dont think Jackson or Crowder will go that high...

who are you guys looking at in the first?

I have no clue who we are looking at. One minute I hear we like DJ, the next I hear Haslett say there are no stars in this years draft (only 2nd and 3rd rounders, he says).

At this point, I would take Jamaal Brown. If we stay put, it seems to be either him or Thomas Davis. And yes, we did sign Dwight, but we need another Saftey and even if we don't play Davis as Saftey, we can play him at OLB. Rather have him than 'sure-fire-bust-Ware'. I've always stayed away from stock risers.

Minnesota would have to fork over the #18 pick to Cleveland to move to #3 (and probably a fourth rounder or a high pick next year too). Similarly, San Diego would have to give Tennessee the #28 pick to move up from 12 to 6.
