PLAYER INTERESTED THE SKINNY

Cadillac Williams
RB, Auburn

Team interested - Bears

Vikings Apr. 15 - Bears coach Lovie Smith, offensive coordinator Ron Turner and general manger Jerry Angelo flew to Auburn to work out Williams Thursday. The interesting part of the workout is that Ronnie Brown was on campus and the Bears didn't ask to see him, although he did drop over to say hello. Williams worked mostly on catching the ball, which he did very well during the workout, reports John Clayton. The Bears are taking either a wide receiver or running back with the No. 4 selection in the first round.

With a week to go before the draft I don't have any idea who the Bears are going to take unless you consider one of 6 players an idea.

Yeah, that was how it copied from ESPN Insiders draft rumors. Oops!

I like them both, and its very hard to argue against Cadillac.

There are 4 offensive, (6 if you count defenders but I just dont think that the Bears will look this way), players in this draft who I really think would be good for the Bears, Edwards, M. Williams, C. Williams, and R Brown. The Bears just can not pick the one who busts.

why would you look at the back up b4 the starter. there has to be a reason brown wasn't starting. if he is that much better.

im not downing him and saying hes not good, but i don't think he is better. could be better but not there yet.

ESPN's scouts insist strongly that the Bears' scenario is this:

If Braylon Edwards is available, they'll draft him.

If not, they will draft Cedric Benson.

In the extremely unlikely case that both are gone, they would draft one of the Williamses.
