Bob Hammond, of the Laramie Boomerang, reports Wyoming junior CB Derrick Martin announced he would forego his senior season and enter the 2006 NFL Draft. Martin will be represented by Terra Firma Sports Management of Columbus, Ohio. His agent is Brad Cicala. "Right now I believe Derrick is a late first-day or early second-day choice," Cicala said. "Now that he has declared for the draft, we can see about getting him in the NFL Combine. We should know about that by next week. Where he goes (in the Draft) will depend a lot on what kind of time he has."
he is very good...this is a case where I think a virtual unknown could rise up the boards...great athlete and tremendous leaper......could go as high as round 2.
