That's impossible. In fact, it's pretty improbable any of these guys are running ACTUAL 4.3s.....
The fastest official run ever recorded I believe was Ben Johnson when he was in his prime and roided out of his mind. His fastest recorded 40 was around 4.35 or 4.33 or around there.
So these scouts, publications, players and agents are going to tell me that these kids are routinely running that fast....? I'm guessing you put some of these 4.3 and 4.2 football sprinters on a track against Ben Johnson in his prime, and they'd get beat pretty easily....

ok if i recall, ben johnson is an olympic sprinter, sprinters run the 100 m, while a football field is 100 yards. so maybe ben johnson ran a 4.35 40 meter, while football players run 40 yards. this is just a theory, i have no idea what how 40s in football work really. also a track is much faster than turf i believe. so do you know whether johnson ran a 40 on a track or a football field?
