If the first 13 picks in this draft were hits, or at least Hawk and Ryans, it wouldn't be insane to think the Eagles would pick up White. Greenway is still there, but the Eagles need a between the tackles runner like I need a Happy Ending. If we do take White, let's all hope his ACL doesn't shred when he sneezes like Correll's. That in itself would make me happy.
Don't get me wrong, if Ryans is there I take him without thinking twice. I'm not going to complain though if we get a runner that can tempt us enough into not throwing the ball three times in a row from inside our own 5.

I would LOVE it!
Hell yeah we need other positions. But we have our version of thunder and lightning(s) with him, and we could be more two dimensional.
I'd love it.

Not when these other players are on the board:
Quote:
15 Atlanta Michael Huff DB Texas
16 Marcus McNeil OT Auburn
20* Mathias Kiwanuka* DE Boston College
23* Winston Justice OTSouthern California

Aside from Huff, those guys are big time players that fill needs right away. Huff just makes sense as an eventual replacement for B-Dawk who is in his last year of his contract.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of taking a first round TE since it's not really a need and the draft is balls deep in quality players at that position. Getting Ko Simpson at #32 would be solid though. Kiwi almost falls to us at #22 in this one too (Kiper gave him to us) and that would be incredible. In this case, I think we should take Bunkley at #22 and keep Simpson at #32. That would be ideal. With only one WR taken in the first (Santonio going to the Giants at #25) we could get a helpful body at that position in the second round.

I know. We have bigger holes to fill. I agree that we should get an OT, LB, or someone on the DL, but I wouldn't be entirely upset if we draft him. Would be an entirely new element to our game. Imagine if we threw Lendale in last year when Gordon was running? Or the year before with Dorsey? This would be a TRUE change of pace back, not some geezer who comes in to kill a few downs and give BW a rest.

I just don't see the point in drafting a RB 14th overall when he would get at most 10 carries a game when we can get a top D-line, DB, or O-line prospect. We finally have a pick in the top half of the draft, I don't want to waste it when we can get a top talent at a premium position.

Yeah. Reid is pretty sold on passing. But if we do end up drafting a bruiser running back pretty high, could this be the year he changes his mentality? Possibly a 50/50 gameplan?

Why the hell does everyone keep saying we are going to take Jimmy Williams...
I would take Huff over him ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.
