On Wednesday, defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka left the field after going down with an injury. Kiwanuka was thrown to the ground by his Boston College teammate Jeremy Trueblood during one-on-one blocking drills, and it was obvious from the start that he was injured.
While Kiwanuka did come back and finish the session, he was held out today. Now comes word that Kiwanuka will undergo X-rays to determine if there is possible ligament damage to his shoulder. If the X-rays are negative, Kiwanuka will play on Saturday; otherwise, he will not.

Kiwi might not fall so far because he is still an incredible physical specimen. He's obviously got a long way to go as far as technique is concerned, but he can be taught and he has all the things that can't be (size, length, strength, etc.). If he falls to the Broncos at #22, I'd be shocked and thrilled.
