Will work his way into late Round 1

others:

Offense: Greg Lee WR Pittsburgh (Early 2nd round but most productive rookie WR)
Defense: Antonio Cromartie CB Florida St (will be the 1st CB Chosen)

There it is. I was going to wait till after the combine but I'll live and die by this call.

The History:

1992: Darren Woodson SS Arizona St (Round 2)
1993: Russell Copeland WR Memphis (Round 3)
1994: Sam Rogers OLB Colorado (Round 2)
1995: Antonio Freeman WR Virginia Tech (Round 3)
1996: Steven Conley LB Arkansas (Round 3)
1997: Brandon Mitchell DE Texas A&M (Round 2)
1998: Hines Ward WR Georgia (Round 3)
1999: Johnny Rutledge MLB Florida (Round 2)
2000: T.J. Slaughter ILB Southern Mississippi (Round 3)
2001: Andre Dyson CB Utah (Round 2)
2002: LeCharles Bentley C Ohio State (Round 2)
2003: Boss Bailey OLB Georgia (Round 2)
2004: Jason Babin OLB Western Michigan (Round 1)
2005: Shawne Merriman OLB Maryland (Round 1)
2006: Stanley McClover DE Auburn.........to be continued

Those are three guys I'm really high on as well. Had McClover stayed for his final year, I think he's pretty much a shoe in for a first round selection. I'm not sure if he'll make it as high as round one, but I definitely think the guy will garner some consideration early on in the selection. Perhaps the success of Shawn Merriman and other tweeners could help his case, but I still think he has a lot to prove.

Love Greg Lee, I thought it was a mistake for him to come out, however he might have a chance to prove himself worth in a relatively weak receiver class. I see him as a late second, early third guy myself.

I like Cromartie's potential, and if he works out well and can prove he's 100% back from that injury, he may indeed be the first cornerback taken. Probably will be, and if the words I'm hearing about his 40 times are true... look out!

yeah i dont know how mcclover isnt getting any pub, guess b/c he is a junior, but still.

Height: 6-3 | Weight: 260 | 40-Time: 4.58

Strengths:
An excellent natural athlete...Has outstanding speed and quickness...Agile with great body control and changes direction well...A tremendous pass rusher off the edge...Explosive and makes a lot of big plays...Does a great job in pursuit...Good tackler and shows some ability in space...Productive...Still has a massive upside.

Weaknesses:
Lacks ideal height and bulk...Does not have a lot of experience and is very raw...Is not very consistent and disappears for stretches...Needs to bulk up and get stronger...Is too aggressive at times...Struggles to take on blocks...Relies too heavily on his athleticism...Might be a 'tweener who has to change positions.

Notes:
Could be moved to outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme...Averaged about 12 tackles for loss and 8 sacks in his two seasons of playing time...Could have gone much higher with another year in college...A situational pass rusher at the very least...Has some physical tools to work with and his potential is very intriguing.

sounds like a badass 3-4 olb prospect to me.

I think he's doing alright for someone who started out as a 3rd round or possible 2nd day selection. I still think he's only going to improve. He was terribly raw.

I DON'T THINK HE'LL GET UP THAT HIGH, BUT WITH HIS ATHLETIC ABILITY HE COULD DEFINITELY BE A CLIMBER. STILL I WOULDN'T EXPECT HIM TO GO AHAED OF SIMILAR TYPE PLAYERS LIKE LAWSON AND WIMBLEY.

I thought he was an undeclared Sophomore until like a week ago. I'm not as high on him as SDOGO is, but I think hes still a mid-late 2nd rounder.

Lawson will make the big jump this week. The guy is a physical freak and some GM's are going to fall in love with him. Wimbley has a very good shot of working his way up but I really think by draft time McClover will be right there with him.
