According to DB.com, we've also spoken and met with Kevin Simon, LB. Nice, I really like this kid and if he didn't have injuries, he'd definitely be a first day pick.
We timed Chad Jackson at 4.32 and Derek Hagan at 4.42.
About Chad Jackson, when I brought him up a few months ago, you and OBF both bashed me. Talk about fairweather. Heh.

im still not sold on the kid.. thats just me.. id rather us get Maurice Stovell from ND... hes a big physical recieve.. just what we need... i dont see us takin a first round WR.. at least i hope me dont

The Broncos covet Chad Jackson. The other three teams mentioned of speaking with him are Green Bay and Tennessee. If he makes it to #22, I'm almost positive he's our pick.

The kid is going to be something special. <-- Sorry if I sounded like John Madden there, ha.

According to several draft scouts that have had contact with the Broncos(Scott Wright of nfldraftcountdown.com), he said that our main concern is at WR and it's our focus of the offseason.
Chad Jackson will be our first pick.

Yep. I had the chance to talk to Scott and several others and they're really concerned with upgrading the receiver position. The Broncos talked to Chad in Mobile, and have been on him at the combine.

Yeah, I emailed him a few days ago and he said that we're into getting a WR -- which was also our #1 need. Defensive line which was our #2 need, offensive line which was our #3 need, and maybe safety/a franchise RB. And according to KFFL, we're really intrested in Mike Bell out of Arizona.

Good news for us:

As of right now, scouts feel like there is only one elite 1st round Wide Receiver at the combine. That receiver is Santonio Holmes/Ohio State.

^From another board
That means Chad should fall down to us!
