Underclassman: 11
Analysis: This is about the norm for underclassman going in round 1.
Prospect by Position
QB: 3; RB: 5; WR: 3; TE: 2; OL: 2; DL: 7; LB: 4; DB: 6
Analysis: No surprises here as DL and DB are normally hot picks in round 1.
Most Prospects by School
1. Southern Cal: 5
2. Ohio State: 4
3. Texas: 3
4. Penn State, Oregon, Florida State: 2
Analysis: All 6 colleges were powerhouses in 2005, as 5 of the 6 played in BCS bowls, with only Oregon not, and probably should have been.
Round 1
1. Houston - *Mario Williams DE North Carolina State
Analysis: Why not one of the other top 4 prospects in this draft. Vince Young or Matt Leinart, they have David Carr who Gary Kubiak likes. Reggie Bush, they just signed Dom Davis to an extension and he's a top 15 back. D'Brickashaw Ferguson, reportedly Matt Lepsis could be released and the likely spot for him is back with Kubiak in Houston. So as you can see Mario Williams is the only prospect that fills a real need for the Texans and with them switching to the 4-3, they lack anyone at defensive end.
2. New Orleans - Matt Leinart QB Southern Cal
3. Tennessee - *Reggie Bush RB Southern Cal
4. N.Y. Jets - *Vince Young QB Texas
5. Green Bay - D'Brickashaw Ferguson T Virginia
6. San Francisco - DeAngelo Williams RB Memphis
7. Oakland - A.J. Hawk LB Ohio State
8. Buffalo - *Haloti Ngata DT Oregon
9. Detroit - Michael Huff DB Texas
10. Arizona - *LanDale White RB Southern Cal
11. St. Louis - *Vernon Davis TE Maryland
12. Cleveland - Chad Greenway LB Iowa
13. Baltimore - Tye Hill CB Clemson
14. Philadelphia - Tamba Hali DE Penn State
15. Atlanta - Jimmy Williams DB Virginia Tech
16. Miami - *Winston Justice T Southern Cal
17. Minnesota - *Laurence Maroney RB Minnesota
18. Dallas - Jay Cutler QB Vanderbilt
19. San Diego - *Darnell Bing SS Southern Cal
20. Kansas City - *Ashton Youboty CB Ohio State
21. New England - *Santonio Holmes WR Ohio State
22. Denver (f/Washington) - Brodrick Bunkley DT Florida State
23. Tampa Bay - Alan Zemaitis CB Penn State
24. Cincinnati - Gabe Watson DT Michigan
25. N.Y. Giants - Sinorice Moss WR Miami
26. Chicago - Mercedes Lewis TE UCLA
27. Carolina - Rodrique Wright DT Texas
28. Jacksonville - DeMeco Ryans OLB Alabama
29. Denver - Demetrius Williams WR Oregon
30. Indianapolis - Joseph Addai RB LSU
31. Seattle - Kamerion Wimbley DE Florida State
32. Pittsburgh - Bobby Carpenter OLB Ohio State

Rodrique Wright has fallen bigtime lately and has almost no buzz. He has great tools, but I really don't care for someone who won't compete.

People might as well start putting Chad Jackson in the first round of their mocks.
Low 4.3 plus great hands and good size = 1st round pick
