I really doubt it, he was very impressive at college, but he never really showed me anything that said he'd be able to carry the load in the NFL. The bowl game against Texas was proof. He wont put up the kind of numbers he did in college when he only gets 15 or 20 touches a game.

if having 170 or so all purpose yrds is a bad game then WOW... that just shows what bush can do and will do... he will be the best RB out of this draft by far

you must have missed my post, the guy surrended half his touches to Lendale White in a bowl game.
He wont have 170 all purpose yards with that number of touches in any game in the NFL.

ok still doenst take away form his talent and versatility... the only thing that will stop bush in the pros is if he gets injured or has a horrible line to run behind... which is why when the texans take him it will take a year or to from him to start doing well since the texans really need an oline

please spare us the bush all-purpose yds stat. getting 19 yards on a kick off is not impressive. (just for the record im not a bush hater i just hate when people throw out that stat, i wouldn't mind people adding his return yards if he had an exceptional game as a returner)
as for why the jets would trade with the texans to get leinart would be to ensure they get him, the saints could be targeting leinart, and also if the jets traded with the saints the texans could still deal the pick to someone wanting leinart.

yah...averaging like 10 yards per carry and putting up almost 200 all purpose yards is such a shutout. Especially against a defense as bad as Texas... even if they did have a spy on him the whole game.
I wouldnt want someone that bad on my team.
What I want to know is this... if the Texans move down to #4.. will Bush be there? I have a feeling that if the Saints dont get Lienart they may take Bush..and if they didnt take Bush, i have a feeling that they would take Dbrick... and if they take Dbrick.. i seriously doubt that bush would slide by the Titans.
SO..I think I just answered my own question... no he wont be there.

Another ****ing rumor.
As much as I love the draft, I hate it, too.

This doesn't surprise all that much. There has been talk for a quite a while that they love Brick...
I think they would make a huge mistake passing on Bush, but Brick is a safer pick and definately talented as hell.
I think the Jets are gonna end up wrecking their ****ing team going up though. WTF do they offer?? I would think they HAVE to give up their 2nd rounder. Right?
Houston is gonna get some major ****ing talent with this trade regardless IMO.
Are they passing on MJ of the NFL though?
Texans could be full of **** also though.

I'm already sick of this draft.
I want 2007 Draft, and James Hardy.

I think its a lock that the Saints go QB, if they dont like young they may even take Cutler, so much can happen between now and draft day, someone high in the ranks of the saints scouting dept. could get a hard-on for Cutler and thatd be it. They could trade down with someone thats interested in Young.

Why trade up to 1 to get a QB? Why not 3 to get either Young or Leinart because one of the two will most likely fall?
|
Prolly because neither of those teams are lookin to move out of top3... titans and Saints both are lookin for a qb, and it would be hard to make them trade out of a spot to land young or leinart
