Have you forgotten Heap already? When healthy he is one of the best TE's in the league. What would be the point of having Davis when you have no OL to protect the passer, and worse, when there is protection, no QB to throw the ball.
As for Davis, i like him and i wish the Eagles would take him, but honestly, i dont see it happening. We have bigger needs although, could you imagine that offense? Westbrook, LJ, Davis, Reggie Brown, and hopefully, a healthy Pinky to draw the deep coverage? Who do you double? Westy, LJ, and Davis are all too fast for LB's and too big for DB's. Yeah, the occasional LB, like Brooks, or a healthy Peterson could cover one of them.....but what team has 3 LB's who can cover these 3? Maybe Denver....but even thats a mismatch in our favor.
Of course...it wont ever happen. We have bigger needs than a TE.

you think i've forgotten about my own players? **** no! i want to run the 2TE set all day! it'll help with protection, it'll help with running the ball, it would be a dynamic redzone offense...instead of only having ONE elite safety-valve for boller, we'd have TWO.

As great as he is I'm worried that the Bills might take him and don't want them to. They have much more important and pressing needs.
