WOW. I thought you already had Demarcus Ware on your team. I like Lawson, but you are the first I've seen put him that high. I don't know about him being a mid first rounder... I really like Scott in the second round, you guys need OL help badly. Whitehurst in the 3rd I'm not too sure of. He is considered a 2nd round pick(late) and a lot of teams could use a quality backup. I see a team like the Eagles picking him up. I love that Slay pick. He is an underrated safety, reminds me of Roy- BIG hitter. Gocong has impressed me so far in the combine, yet another quick tweener. Wellendorf-I must admit I have yet to hear of him, but I hadn't heard much about Crayton of NW Oklahoma either.

Ware's nice but beside Bradie James have you seen the rest of our LB's?

With Dat retiring and Burnett moving inside we really don't have a OLB to speak of. Bill did say he wanted to add 3 or 4 LB's this off season and much of the focus has been on adding 1 or 2 early in the draft.
Whitehurst is the only Qb Dallas has shown any intrest in this year but your probably right, he very could wee find his way into Round 2.
Like you, I think Slay is a stud and very underrated!
Gocong is a true beast one of those players that does nothing but impress every time you see him. Just look at these numbers!
6'3"/ 265lbs/ 4.6 40/
2005 stats: 98 tackles, 22.5 sacks (led I-AA) 4 FF
2004 17 1/2 sacks

Wellendorf is a virtual unkown but he showed some balls this week by showing up at the combine uninvited. He has great size (6'5" and 221), 37" vertical and mid 4.5 speed. He impressed Bill enough with his desire to be seen and attitude that despite not being invited to the combine Bill took the time to chat with him and offer an invite to prospect day at the Ranch.
