This is what Ive just seen on nfl.com:

Minnesota RB Laurence Maroney worked out March 23 on campus. Maroney (6-0 1/8, 215) ran indoors on FieldTurf. He ran one 40 -- times were anywhere from 4.47 to 4.49. He did not run the shuttles or the three-cone drill. He had a 35½-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-3 broad jump and 21 bench presses. Maroney did not participate in Minnesota's Pro Day on March 6 due to a strained hamstring.

I wonder if Jacksonville showed up for that workout.

4.47 isn't bad at all at 217

This does basically nothing to Maroney's draft stock

Agreed. He stays where he is...

I like em, but it wouldn't kill me if the Cats pass on em. Can't make my mind up on him. I suddenly think Maurice Drew is gonna rape the NFL though.

Kid is a super sleeper.

Maroney "system" label could land him in mid to late round 2. Some team has to be in love w/ Drew. Hes gotten over 200 lbs.. all of it muscle, amazing Return ability.

A team looking for RB depth and a returner has thier man.

I'll see what SDOGO has to say when he does the RB rankings over, but Chris Barclay could be a stud from what I've read.

Barclay has some Portis in him... but the guy does have a very slight frame. Down right skinny. He'll get destroyed in the NFL IMO.

No doubt about the skills though.

People will question Drew's size but the guy is flat out the ****ing Hulk. Cut like a ****ing body build champion. Fast as hell and can really do it all. I don't care about the dudes height. Someone is gonna get a superior RB with him man!
