Why the moves by SF and Denver then? Obviously Chicago has a list of players they covet and feel will be there when they pick in round 2 if they make this trade. It's not unheard of. Why not strike while the iron is hot?

As far as Bing goes, we are talking about the Raiders. Take a look at their draft history. When Al Davis get a hard on for player he will make the moves and pull the trigger. I also don't see why Bing is a reach in the 1st.

The Raiders don't think so. There was even talk of the Raiders trying to move down into the middle of Round 1 and get him. They must feel there is someone at the end of round 1 or beginning of round 2 who covets him just as much as they do.

I know the Panthers have shown some interest, but i seriously doubt they'd take him in the 1st round.

There has been much talk about the Panthers moving around as well. Nothing as solid but it's starting to look as if they are seriously looking into offers.
